This game can help children learn the numbers to 30. The objects are usefully arranged in tens and ones.

A brilliant tool for helping children tell the time using both analogue and digital times.
Dive for Treasure
A game where random numbers up to 20 are compared. Children need to click the greater number.

Number square games which will help you to find numbers on the number square including numbers in between others.

A number ordering game of 3 levels which include 2 and 3 digit numbers.

This website looks at the vocabulary of 'more', 'fewer' and 'the same'.
Ordinal Numbers
Activities which demonstrate the idea of first, second, third and so on. In the main activity children place competitors in order in two races. Further activities teach higher ordinal numbers from 11th to 20th.
Dartboard - Next
Using an image of a dartboard this site can reinforce rounding up to the nearest 10, 100, 1000 or whole number when using decimals. Either choose to reveal the answers or input answers.

Number Sequences 2
Brilliant for practising number sequences. Lots of different levels. Good for SATs revision. Best displayed in full-screen mode.
Counting Stick
A teaching tool to help with number sequences which go up or down. The counting sticks are either vertical or horizontal. There are different levels of difficulty from very simple to including negative numbers.
Snowflake Sequences
A good site for helping you to work out number sequences. It offers a good range of number patterns.
Multiple Matrix
A game which can help multiplication facts. It can show multiplication patterns in a hundreds square. Try the questions to find the sets of multiples under 100.
Count Along to 100
This game can help children learn your numbers to 100 and see how they are arranged on a 100 square. Useful for KS1 SATs revision.
Cheeky Monkey Number Sequences
A number sequence game where the user needs to spot the next two numbers in the series. Not interactive as you only have to click to reveal the next numbers, however it is a useful tool for lesson starters or plenary activities. Three difficulty levels.

Counting Machine
A good demonstration tool for teachers to ask the question 'What number comes next in the sequence?' The site displays a virtual counting stick.
Diennes and Coins
Useful place value teaching resources for use on an interactive whiteboard. They cover hundreds, tens and units and money. With some you will need to drag the Diennes blocks to represent the number you want.

A brilliant resource for learning or teaching place value. Different levels of difficulty which include decimals.

A place value game which will help children understand hundreds, tens and units. The easier level just has tens and units.

Interactive odd and even maths games for young children involving odd and even numbers.

A simple game where you need to add 10 to on a hundred square. It is best displayed on full screen.
Bingo - Addition
Excellent for whole class addition mental maths. Levels are progressive from single digit addition to decimal addition and HTU and TU addition. It usefully presents sums in different ways.
Number Bonds
A super activity for finding number bonds of the numbers up to 10. It is great for investigating different number bonds.
Save the Whale
Complete the number bonds to set the whale free. You can choose different totals up to 10.
Simple Take Away
A beautifully illustrated animated site which can help children learn subtraction within 5 or 10. There is a facility for making your own subtraction sums within 10.
Inverse Machines
This IWB teaching resource has a simple function machine but with the difference that the numbers can be reversed. This is useful for teaching one more, ten more and addition and subtraction.
Function Machine
The single step function machine adds or subtracts numbers to 10 or you can set your own function.
Base Block Subtraction
A teaching tool with instructions for demonstrating subtraction. It is useful for representing decomposition and works well on an interactive whiteboard.
Bingo More and Less
A class bingo game where children need to work out 1 or 10 more or less. Good for developing maths vocabulary and mental arithmetic. Ranges from numbers to 20 to HTU.
