Estimate
A teaching tool for interactive whiteboards for estimating numbers on a numberline.
Guess the Number
This site is good for demonstrating estimating and halving. You can set the level of difficulty.
Less than and Greater Than
A teaching tool for interactive whiteboards for less than and greater than
Greater Than or Less Than Crocodile
This site explains the greater than or less than symbols as a crocodile's or dragon's mouth. Part two has exercises where pupils need to compare three digit numbers.
Comparing Numbers
A teaching tool which is good for demonstrating greater than and less than with 2 and 3 digit numbers and rounding to 10 and 100.

This website looks at the vocabulary of 'more', 'fewer' and 'the same'.
Thinking of a Number
Children need to guess a number below 100 from clues on the clouds. Good for developing mathematical vocabulary.
Dartboard - Rounding
Use an image of a dartboard to reinforce rounding skills to the nearest 10, 100, 1000 or whole number when using decimals. Either choose to reveal the answers or input answers. Includes rounding pounds, metres and kilograms.

A number sequencing game which has 3 levels of difficulty. Quite good for helping children to spot the pattern of numbers and it can help with odd and even numbers too.

A great resource for demonstrating place value, counting, addition and subtraction. You need to click on the signs to add or remove beads.

Good for demonstrating place value for 3 digit numbers.
Bead Numbers
An online abacus involving some problem solving. The free area is a good teaching tool for demonstrating how an abacus with hundreds, tens and ones works.

Money activities where children decide what they want to buy and work out the total cost. The items are displayed in a sum and also a bill.
Till We Meet Again
Practise giving change in the shop for items costing from 20p to £10. Either calculate the change yourself on the 'Shopkeeper Method' option or use 'Price and Change' which shows how much change to give.
How Much Left?
Lots and lots of money problems here where you need to work out change from amounts from 10p up to £1.00. It is good for starter or plenary activities.

Give change for coins up to 10p, 20p or 50p. You need to scan the items at the till to see their prices.

A shopping game using UK money where you need to choose coins for a given amount. There are 3 levels of difficulty and there is a cut and paste worksheet activity to go with it.

Sort the shapes on a Carroll diagram. Good revision for Key Stage 1 maths SATs. The headings include rectangles, not rectangles, red and not red.

A great teaching clock which gives the time in analogue and digital times. Turn the clock on or back in different time periods.
Telling the Time
A telling the time game which is good for demonstrating vocabulary associated with telling the time. Uses analogue and digital representation.
Bang on Time
A game to help children tell the time. They need to read the time in words and then stop the clock when the hands are in the matching position. You can adjust the speed of the hands.

A wonderful site for developing and reinforcing mathematical vocabulary such as shortest, tallest and smallest. Excellent sorting activities and children can match parent and young.
Alien Cookbook
Select the big screen option for this game which helps put measuring in grams and millilitres into context. Children need to read scales to make the cakes.
Mostly Postie!
A game involving weighing parcels in kilograms and grams. It has different levels of difficulty and is great for reading scales.
Measuring Cylinder
A teacher demonstration tool for reading scales on a measuring cylinder.
Bar Charts
A truly incredible and flexible resource for teaching both vertical and horizontal bar charts. It even has questions about each graph and different levels of difficulty. Highly recommended!
Pictograms
This resource can help your pupils to understand simple graphs or pictograms as they are called. Lots of options to choose from. Useful for answering questions about the pictograms.
Chance and Data
A selection of data-handling activities for 7 year olds. It has a selection of drag and drop activities and involves interpreting data.
Carroll Diagrams
Designed for Key Stage 2 children however the starter activity is suitable for 6 - 7 year olds.
